This policy explains how EZ Wealth handles payments, verifications, refunds, cancellations, and investor protection in line with SEBI and exchange guidelines.

Payments Through Registered Bank Accounts Only
Third party payments are strictly prohibited and may be rejected during compliance verification.
To comply with SEBI regulations, anti money laundering guidelines, and internal compliance policies, EZ Wealth accepts payments only from the client's own registered bank account.
Clients must ensure that:
Any payment received from an unregistered, mismatched, or third party bank account may be rejected, reversed, or may fail during verification and compliance checks.
- The bank account used for payment belongs to the same applicant whose trading and demat account is being opened
- The UPI ID or VPA used for payment is linked with the client's own verified bank account
- Third party payments are strictly prohibited
Bank Verification Process
During account opening, EZ Wealth may collect a nominal ₹1 verification payment through UPI or VPA to validate the client's bank account details.
This verification process helps confirm:
The verification amount may not be refundable once the verification process is completed successfully.
- Bank account ownership
- UPI ID authenticity
- Applicant identity mapping
- Regulatory compliance requirements
Non Refundable Charges
The following charges, once paid and processed, are generally non refundable:
- Trading account opening charges
- Demat account activation charges
- KYC processing and documentation fees
- Regulatory and statutory levies
- Exchange related onboarding charges
- Subscription or value added service fees after activation
Duplicate or Excess Payments
If a client makes duplicate or excess payment due to technical issues or accidental multiple transactions, the excess amount may be eligible for refund after verification.
Clients may be required to provide:
Approved refunds shall be processed to the original payment source within 7 working days.
- Transaction reference number
- Payment proof
- Registered mobile number or PAN details
Refund Processing
Refunds are initiated within 7 working days after approval; bank credit timelines may vary.
All approved refunds shall be subject to the following conditions:
- Refunds will be processed only to the original source bank account or payment method
- EZ Wealth will initiate the refund within 7 working days after approval
- Actual credit timelines depend on banking partner and payment gateway processing timelines
- EZ Wealth shall not be responsible for delays caused by banks, payment gateways, exchanges, or technical outages beyond its control
Cancellation Policy
Clients may request cancellation of the account opening process only before KYC verification and exchange onboarding are completed.
Cancellation requests may not be accepted once any of the following stages are completed:
Any eligible refund arising from cancellation shall be processed in accordance with this policy.
- KYC verification
- CKYC processing
- Exchange registration
- Demat creation request
- Trading segment activation
Non Refundable Scenarios
Refunds shall not be applicable in the following situations:
- Successfully activated trading or demat accounts
- Services already rendered or activated
- Brokerage charges
- STT, GST, SEBI fees, exchange charges, or statutory levies
- Losses arising from trading or investment activity
- Incorrect details submitted by the client
- Rejections arising from regulatory non compliance
- Segment activation or account modification charges
- Promotional or discounted service fees
Chargebacks, Payment Verification and Investor Protection
Always verify the broker's validated UPI ID on the official SEBI Check portal before making any payment.
All payments made to EZ Wealth through the official validated UPI handle ending with "VPA @validhdfc" are subject to verification and compliance checks as per SEBI and exchange guidelines.
Clients are advised to verify the broker's validated UPI ID through the official SEBI Check platform before initiating any payment.
Investors may verify validated UPI IDs, QR codes, bank account details, and IFSC details of registered intermediaries through the official SEBI Check portal.
Clients are strongly advised not to transfer funds to any unofficial, unverified, or non validated UPI handle claiming to represent EZ Wealth.
Unauthorized, fraudulent, or improper chargeback requests may result in:
For investor safety, clients should always verify the payment handle before completing any transaction.
- Suspension of onboarding or account services
- Delay in activation or transaction processing
- Internal compliance review
- Reporting to banks, payment partners, exchanges, or regulatory authorities if required
